A press conference for the 25th/26th Beijing Music Festival (BMF) was held on Wednesday at the Temple of Heaven Park's Divine Music Administration building.
With the theme "Music, Youth, Future, Attitude," the festival is scheduled to begin on September 22 and conclude on October 15. The 24-day event will feature 25 performances spanning various genres with a particular emphasis on showcasing the youthful power of the classical music world and offering audiences a glimpse into the future of classical music culture through the latest works from emerging musicians.In an effort to promote youth development, the BMF will invite more outstanding young musicians to participate in the event. It encourages the creation of young talents and international exchanges, serving as a platform for cooperation between Chinese and foreign musicians.
The BMF will introduce a variety of new experiences and approaches to better integrate music and life. It will also invite a wide range of internationally renowned groups and artists, creating an international artistic vision of the future. Different forms of public welfare activities will also be offered to engage a wider audience and increase the benefits to the public.
