Recently, representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy visited the Center for Promotion of Industrial Internet for Silk-Road CPIIS in Norwest China's Shaanxi Province, to discuss enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises in the fields of technological innovation and the digital economy, as well as the co-building of platforms for information and capability-sharing.
Regarding the development of the chip semiconductor industry, Nông Đức Lai, Commercial Counsellor of the Vietnamese Embassy, said that ASEAN countries are vital components of the global chip semiconductor industrial chain, particularly excelling in areas such as chip assembly.

Silk Road chip cloud's chain technology and resource-sharing plans had been previously proposed. The platform makes available industrial chain technologies and capabilities, and mature products and solutions which can be shared by Chinese enterprises.
Sharing cooperation with Vietnamese chip semiconductor enterprises in fields including tool software, IP, design, and manufacturing can also be achieved. Both sides can achieve the complementary advantages of technology and resources, the interoperability in the industrial chain through the platform.
Vietnam has expressed great interest in this platform and is willing to participate in the platform's co-construction and sharing of plans, establishing nodes in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
