A day after it held its premiere on Tuesday, the crime thriller Who's The Suspect hit theaters across the nation.

The actors shared their deep understanding of their roles with the audience at the premiere.

Actress Zhang Xiaofei's brilliant performance won praise from many viewers. She said she was lucky to portray Chen Zhiqi, a cool female character who not only has a mysterious shell, but also a role that explores human nature and maternal love, as well as the struggle of being a lawyer. She said the role is very complex and three-dimensional.

Actor Wang Ziyi did a lot of homework in advance to create Na Ji, a marginal character, digging into his personality and motivation. Actor Hong Junjia said he felt a strong sense of power after reading the script. He made a unique interpretation of Dan Wen, the suspect, with high emotional intensity.

Actor Bao Shangen said he hopes that his character Liang Xinyuan's tragic experience in the movie would remind audiences that the damage caused by cyber violence is irreversible, and not to judge others easily without knowing the full picture.

The different positions of the many characters in the film not only make the murder and kidnapping cases more confusing, but also brings shocking clashes caused by human nature.

Director Xue Xiaolu said that the film is filled with character relationships and emotions and that the three main roles were very powerful.
