The Pucheng Art Museum opens to the public

The Pucheng Art Museum/Fan Di'an Art Museum, located in Pucheng county, East China's Fujian Province, opened to the public on October 20.

Fan Di'an, Chairman of the China Artists Association, has donated 136 pieces including paintings and watercolors, as well as other collections, to the museum. Besides, other artists also made donations to the museum. 

At the same time, Fan also donated to his hometown a number of art books from his private collection and invited many domestic art museums and art publishing and communication institutions to donate more than 6,000 art books, which helped set up the country's first "aesthetic education center" in the museum.

Four exhibitions have been held, among them, an academic seminar on "The Role of Grassroots Art Museums in the Construction of Modern Civilization" and the performance of Where Dream Pens Give Birth to Flowers.
