Taiwan singing group member Aaron Yan involved in sex scandal

Yan Yalun, known as Aaron Yan, a member from a then popular male singing group Fahrenheit from the island of Taiwan, was accused of sneaking shooting sex video of a teenager in the past, according to Chinatimes.com, a news outlet in Taiwan.

The police examined the digital content on electronic devices of Yan after checked Yan’s residence, and suspected that there were several sex tapes from involving different persons shot by Yan, said the report.

The search came after a recent claim from an influencer Qiu Yaole, who accused Yan of forcibly sneaking shooting the influencer was still a teenager.

Though after the incident, Yan stepped out in public clearing that the incident was never an “forcible activity,” the police said that it is still impossible to confirm whether there is a violation of the victim’s will, and will continue to investigate, according to China News.

The incident also caused a swirl of discussion on Sina Weibo, as Yan was once one of the most popular idols for fans in Chinese mainland in 2000s.

Whether the forcible activity is involved or not, the police said that Yan’s activity has violated the regulation of adolescent Sexual exploitation prevention act, according to Taiwan news outlet SETN.com.

Since Yan’s debut as member of singing group, he was known for his participation in a string of variety shows in Chinese mainland, and gained high attention since.
