The "Thai Consulate and Friends" Movie Night with
You and Me and Me organized by the Royal Thai Consulate General in Shanghai was successfully concluded at the Hongqiao Art Center, Shanghai. The deputy consul general of the Consulate General, Shanghai officials, foreign consuls general, and members of the consular missions in Shanghai, as well as many media professionals, and audiences interested in Thai film and culture attended the event.
The event was also the premiere of Thailand's most popular movie of the year
You and Me and Me in China. The film tells the story of twin sisters that takes place around the year 2000.
The deputy consul general welcomed everyone to the event. He said that, "Since 2011, we have successfully held several Thai Film Weeks to promote the development of the Thai film industry in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region. This year, we have added more fashion elements to this event and held a unique Thai movie night. We hope you will enjoy the movie night tonight and form a good memory of Thailand."
In recent years, the Thai film industry has made a global splash with its "5F" approach to cultural promotion, namely food, festival, film, fight, and fashion.
