Crime drama Regeneration is about to be staged on streaming site Youku. Directed by Shen Ao, the drama stars Jing Boran and Zhou Yiran. Shen said that this brain-burning crime drama will present an artistic exchange to au-diences.

Beginning with the death of the protagonist Fei Ke, the show focuses on "anti-fraud" efforts. Through the narra-tion of five "scam victims," the show reveals the complexity of human nature through the charm of a Rashomon-type story. Producers Gao Boyang and Zheng Lin said that the play not only portrays the multi-faceted nature of "liars," but also presents the human weaknesses of "scam victims" with the aim of triggering the audience to think deeply.

Shen revealed that the production process was full of challenges, and the actors faced huge challenges when it came to presenting this story about truth and lies.
