A special event focusing on overseas enterprises was held in Beijing, with personnel from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in China envisioning the future of cooperation between the UAE and China after 40 years of diplomatic relations.

Over 70 technology companies from Beijing's Haidian district gathered to discuss the paths for internationalization of enterprises into Central Asia and interacted with representatives from the UAE embassy, investment institutions, and Chinese experts on overseas enterprise issues.

Eman Amer, director of the Media Affairs and Public Diplomacy at the UAE embassy, introduced the UAE's business environment and policies encouraging the development of tech companies.

She pointed out that this year marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, with the economic cooperation between the two sides flourishing. "The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has promoted infrastructure construction, connectivity, and opened up new trade and investment opportunities. The UAE firmly supports the BRI and actively leverages its advantage as a major logistics hub and international talent gathering place in the Middle East to support nearly 6,000 Chinese companies in landing in the UAE."

"Looking ahead, economic ties between the two countries will continue to strengthen. The UAE will reach more cooperation agreements with Chinese companies, providing inexhaustible impetus for the economic development of both countries and the prosperity of the global market," noted Amer.
