Chinese artist Men Xiumin has brought his new water ink paintings to the Salon d'Automne in France, which features over 1,200 art works in an exhibition at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.

The Salon d’Automne is a non-profit association of artists founded in 1903, whose aim is to encourage and develop fine arts through exhibitions both in France and abroad.

It also organizes a major annual meeting in Paris that highlights works of art from various different disciplines.

Men is well-known for his unique water color paintings, with subjects featuring China’s traditional culture. The artist uses a new painting language to convey a common understanding of the true meaning of beauty.

His art works have been showcased in various exhibitions. As a new form of Chinese ink paintings, Men’s works display the beauty of nature, and include core aspects of Chinese culture. The paintings can also resonate with people from different countries as part of cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
