The sixth season of the web talk show "Mars Intelligence Agency (MIA)," produced by China's video platform Youku, concluded on Friday with a heartwarming note, reaffirming its commitment to entertaining the audience with intriguing stories and performances while addressing emotional needs.

The MIA show is presented as an extraterrestrial intelligence organization, led by a director. Celebrities serve as representatives of MIA agents, regularly reporting novel and interesting discoveries to the director, proposing suggestions for discussion among guests and the audience. In the end, the director makes judgments on the proposed cases, and those approved are incorporated into the MIA calendar, and adhered to by all MIA members.

After a three-year hiatus, the latest season's proposals focused on issues concerning young people, including social, emotional, workplace, and campus-related concerns and perplexities. Its cast includes cross-talk performer Jiang Kun, singers Xue Zhiqian and Jin Zhiwen, and actresses Qi Wei and Zhao Lusi.

Prior to the broadcast of the final episode, personalized keyword posters were created for each agent, thanking them for their presence throughout the season.

In the last episode, the first proposal continued the show's tradition of addressing everyday life issues, focusing on how Earthlings easily lose their sense of boundaries in interpersonal relationships. The second proposal, in line with past season finale, saw each special agent summarizing their experiences in 2023 using just one word, while expressing their hopes for the New Year.

In the final moments of the show, Wang Han, a renowned host who served as the director of the MIA in previous seasons, appeared on stage, reuniting with the agents after a long absence. In the form of a letter, he nostalgically recounted the joy, warmth, and emotional journey of the season.

First aired in 2016, the MIA show is characterized by its humor and entertaining atmosphere. Additionally, its guests are usually celebrities from the entertainment industry who share amusing anecdotes and observations. The first season of the show received a score of 7.6 out of 10 on Douban, China's version of IMDb.
