A symposium that focuses on discussing the future pathways of visual language research in the art industry has been held in Mianyang, Southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Held by the Sichuan University of Culture and Arts, the scholarly event invited international experts from countries such as the US and Malaysia to compose a dialogue with Chinese artists from institutions including Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and China Academy of Art.
Chinese expert Liu Peiwen chaired the event and discussed how to connect museums and heritages, amid a backdrop of increasing influence from complex digital arts in the creative environment.
Future art will be connected tightly to other fields such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, medicine, biology and artificial intelligence, said Liu.
