The opening ceremony of the 2023 Xiamen Russian Film Culture Week Beijing branch was recently held at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.

At the opening ceremony, the short films From One Hare, Stalin's Cranberries, and the animated short film A Thinking Wolf were screened.

Several guests, including Tatiana Urzhumtseva, director of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, delivered speeches to introduce the film week, and wished the audiences a pleasant viewing.

The main magic of cinema is to bring people from different countries together in front of the silver screen. It can bring people from different countries and continents together. Russia has always attached great importance to the promotion of Russian films abroad.

The screening at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing is set to cover eight films, which will be shown at the center over several days.

The works of Russian filmmakers reflect the social issues, life stories, and topics that interest the directors, and are in line with reality.

These films show the various aspects of Russian life to the Chinese audience, allowing them to understand the Russian lifestyle, and thus better understand the characteristics of the Russian way of thinking.

On November 4, the Russian Film Culture Week was held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian Province, where 10 excellent films by young Chinese and Russian directors selected from nearly a hundred entries presented a collision and fusion of cultures to the audience.

The Xiamen Russian Film Culture Week has been successfully held for four sessions, playing an important role in promoting the development of film and cultural exchanges between China and Russia.
