Chinese elements making a craze in Thai’s television drama

The Thai romance television series, Revenge from The Past, also known as Revenge, aired in Thailand in 2022, and recently stirred a lot of buzz in China as it incorporates Chinese elements in the drama.

Phing turned into a charming lady with a heart full of rage and she's ready to do whatever it takes to avenge those who ruined her.

Viewers can clearly see the traces of Chinese culture here, from the red clothes to the Chinese wedding, Chinese medicine, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, and Chinese characters.

The hashtag about Thai drama Revenge embraces Chinese culture throughout and a large number of netizens have been drawn to online discussions on Chinese social media.
