The Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) recently held the Global Culture Festival and the Campus Open Day for 2023 Comprehensive Evaluation Admissions.
The event was themed around the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, presenting the multicultural integration and international characteristics of BFSU. The opening ceremony was attended by ambassadors from Finland, Serbia, Madagascar, El Salvador and officials from relevant institutions, who shared the global cultural atmosphere of exchanges and mutual appreciation.
The ambassadors emphasized the important role that cultural exchanges, mutual appreciation, tolerance and coexistence play in the development of human civilization and the building of a community with a shared future. They also spoke highly of the important role played by BFSU in language teaching and promoting global cultural exchanges and congratulated the university on the success of the Global Culture Festival.
After the opening ceremony, student representatives from various countries participated in a parade which ran from an auditorium with a crowd of more than 1,000 people to the athletic field. During the parade, nearly 200 Chinese and foreign students wearing traditional clothing sang and danced, creating a beautiful picture of the intermingling of multiple cultures.
