Caring for national historical and cultural relics is an awareness that every Chinese should have. On Saturday, two persons were detained after staff warned them not to climb on cultural relics in Yuanmingyuan, or Old Summer Palace, in Beijing. After the incident, the park's management office carried out an inspection of the site and found that the relics had not been damaged. But still, this uncivilized behavior deserved punishment. Tourists need to bear a sense of discipline when visiting centuries-old scenic spots.

In my life dictionary, there are no words like "lying flat." If one is eager to achieve something, it is not enough to merely treat it as an interest or a passion, one needs to invest time and effort in it. You need to fight for what you want by investing constant effort in it. For young people, it is necessary to have a goal in life, insist on that goal and making breakthroughs to achieve it.

As a country with a history that dates back thousands of years, archaeological cultural heritage can act as a business card to the world. To achieve that, China should participate more in international-level cultural heritage movements and events, in order to have more of a say globally. For example, it is important to deepen cooperation with global organizations and participate in transnational programs to learn from the world while sharing Chinese experience in historical relics restoration and protection. In addition, it will also help conduct joint archaeological and transnational applications for world heritage status, such as recognition of the Wangchuan Ceremony by UNESCO, a joint application by Malaysia and China in 2020.
